Required Qualification & Experience:
A Billing Engineer should have Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering (BE Civil), B. Tech / PG in Construction Management, MBA/PGDM will be additional benefit.
10+ years of exp. as Billing Engineer in Real Estate Company.
Strong skills in rate analysis, Bill Management, ERP. Proficiency in budgeting, RA Billing, Estimation, Excellent communication, leadership, organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
A billing engineer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and resolving billing issues. Their responsibilities include:
- Verification of measurements wrt drawings, Verification of Abstract sheet wrt work order issued
- Checking of Arithmetical accuracy of all calculations
- Verification of Quantities indicated in the bill against work order BOQ’s & correctness of total claim under each item, Checking of any deviations in specifications.
- Checking of the standard deductions as per mode of measurements that are to be made from e.g. Concrete, shuttering, Reinforcement, brick masonry, plaster etc. as per code provisions.
- Preparation of Bill Scrutiny Reports. Preparation of Tracking sheet for financial institutions
- Preparation of Budget vs Actuals report. Preparation of Total Cost incurred sheet for MIS, Audit report etc
Skills & Knowledge required:
Billing engineers should have knowledge of Estimation & costing, BBS (Bar Bending Schedule), Rate analysis, Labour & machinery analysis, Billing processes, Cost management, Excel files to manage measurement records & summarize them for billing. AutoCAD.
